Fall Colours at Blue Mountain
Each year the Autumn in the Blue Mountains is set against the incredible spectacle of changing fall colours and it’s a wonderful time for countryside touring.
From mid-September to late October the splendour of flaming red maple, deep yellow poplar and white-barked birch becomes the backdrop for touring artisan studios, enjoying fall photography workshops and hunting for great antiques. The Fall Colours in Blue Mountain are spectacular.

Ski Blue Mountain
During the winter season
Blue Mountain Resort offers alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country
skiing. Most of our Chalet rentals are located right across the street from
the Blue Mountain Resort ski hills and the Intrawest Village in the Wintergreen,
Sierra Lanes and the Mountain walk condo sections.
Blue
Mountain Ski Resort features 3 base ski lodges that lead to 34 trails and
12 lifts, 3 of which can carry up to six skiers. The two and a half mile long
ski park also offers snowboarding on 3 half pipes and 3 terrain parks. Two beginner's
ski areas are also available with adult and children programs available that
are designed for both beginner or novice skiers.
For cross-country skiers or snowshoe enthusiasts, there are various trails
located throughout the Beaver Valley Region including the Bruce trail and Georgian
Trail.
If snowmobiling is your thing then take your snowmobile
on hundreds of kilometres of Snowmobiling trails that have spectacular views
of the Niagara Escarpment stretching all the way to Owen Sound.
While in Blue Mountain, the Intrawest Village, also known as the 'Village at
Blue', you can enjoy dining and awesome shopping. In the evening, night skiing
comes alive at Blue Mountain while the pubs and night clubs offer up great entertainment
after a day or night on the slopes
